Chopper Spirals Out of Control into Palm Groves at Frequented Southern California Coast
A chopper soaring over a well-attended coastal beach suddenly commenced twirling uncontrollably, finally dropping height and plunging into a cluster of palm groves as onlookers looked on.
Footage shared online show the helicopter commencing to spiral near the shoreline then descending in the direction of the edge of the beach, where it ends up lodged between palms and a staircase close to the coastal road.
Emergency Response Details
The Huntington Beach fire department stated five people were rushed to the hospital comprising two individuals who were in the aircraft and were “extracted safely from the crash site” following the crash on the weekend.
Three people on the road were harmed. Information on their wounds were still under review.
The reason for the accident was still under investigation.
